Mulonga Water Supply and Sanitation Company (MWSC) has held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) with shareholders to review Company performance and strategy.

Here are some facts about MWSC

• The Company was formed under the Water Supply and Sanitation Act No 28 of 1997.
• MWSC was constituted in 1999 and started operations in 2000 covering Chingola, Chililabombwe and Mufulira.
• The Company is owned in equal shares by the Municipalities of Chingola, Chililabombwe and Mufulira.
• MWSC fall under the Government Ministry of Water Development and Sanitation and is regulated by the National Water Supply and Sanitation (NWASCO)
• The Company operates on a commercial basis and is not grant aided.
